Open Role: Graphic Designer/Digital Marketing Officer

The carlstic Group Ltd, a fast paced 360° Public Relations (PR) & Brand Communications Agency in Kenya is looking for a Graphic Designer/Digital Marketing Officer to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for integrating marketing tactics with business development strategies to increase branding visibility and revenue for our various lines of business and clients at Carlstic. He/She will work closely with PR Officers, copywriter, other graphic designers as well as collaboratively with other internal teams and senior management to create authentic, engaging, and compelling communication. We are looking for talent, passion and enthusiasm.

Job Duties

Design Strategy: Developing and implementing design strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Generate and manage all communication brand assets for Carlstic i.e. company’s corporate brochures & profiles, company presentations, pitch decks, product packaging, video and other B2B focused material

Design Research: Conduct user research and analyze data to inform your design decisions and ensure that your designs meet the needs of the target audience.

Leadership and Management: Lead & pprovide direction and guidance to junior designers and oversee the quality of their work.

Develop and package outreach materials such as company profiles, magazines, flyers, posters, banners, and multi-media presentations for exclusive and specific use by The Carlstic Group Ltd clients

Develop derivative products such as social media infographics, GIFs, and banners

Client management: You will be responsible for managing client expectations, communicating with clients, and ensuring that their needs are being met throughout the design process

Other graphic design support as needed.

Qualifications:-

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in graphic arts, design, communications, or a relevant field

Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in graphic design

MUST have at least 12 months experience working in an advertising, branding, or marketing agency or another similarly fast-paced environment

Experience with SMEs, corporates, non-governmental organizations, donors and/or agency, or mass media is preferred

Proven experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, after effects and other design software Strong written and verbal fluency in English
